Description:

Battery Meter Overlay is a useful app that displays the battery percentage at the top of the screen. It provides users with the ability to easily check whether their battery has enough charge to engage in activities such as gaming, watching movies, or browsing the web.

The app offers several features:

 <li>Displays battery information in percentage (%)</li>
 <li>Shows battery meter on top of other apps</li>
 <li>Supports themes for meter colors and backgrounds</li>
 <li>Allows control over notification show/hide</li>
 <li>Overlaps on top of the status bar</li>
 <li>Introduces a new feature that shows the meter on the lock screen with a notification (available for Android 8.0 and later)</li>
</ul>

The Pro version of Battery Meter Overlay provides additional features:

<ul>
 <li>No ads</li>
 <li>Auto hide on fullscreen mode</li>
 <li>Manually adjust meter position (respects screen orientation)</li>
 <li>Customize meter colors (levels, charging, text, and background)</li>
 <li>Adjust meter size (x0.5 to x2.0)</li>

Special access permission:

In order to display the battery meter on top of other apps, it's necessary to grant Battery Meter Overlay the special access permission "Draw over other apps" during the initial setup.

Restrictions for Android Oreo (8.0) users:

Due to security improvements in Android OS, it is not possible to show Battery Meter Overlay on top of the status bar. Therefore, the battery meter is always displayed below the status bar.
